Fort Collins student wins “Student of the Year” at 2018 CACCS Awards Banquet
IBMC College Fort Collins Cosmetology student, Abigail Sharp, won Colorado Association of Career Colleges and Schools (CACCS) Student of the Year award. Abigail was presented with the honor on Friday, Sept. 7, at the Art Institute in Denver as part of the CACCS’s annual Awards Banquet.
Two other IBMC College students were awarded Meritorious Recognitions, but were not able to attend the event. Senior Director of Education, Melissa Meltzer, from the Fort Collins campus and Greeley Campus President Mary Matsutani proudly “stood in” for those students at the banquet. The students who received the recognitions were:
- Krissie Pate, Fort Collins Campus, Physical/Massage Therapy category
- Gwen Palafox, Greeley Campus, Specialized Trades category
