Greeley IBMC College to Move to Elk Lakes Shopping Center July 1

The former Borders Bookstore building is being remodeled to accommodate IBMC College of Greeley’s new campus location for the next decade.

IBMC College has signed a 10-year lease to occupy the former Borders Bookstore location in the Elk Lakes Shopping Center, 2863 35th Avenue in Greeley, CO.

The expected move-in date is the week of July 1, 2013.

Thunderpup Construction is nearly finished remodeling the 23,300 square foot new IBMC College campus building, adding a 4,500 square foot cosmetology services’ wing and salon to accommodate the recently ACICS approved Cosmetology Diploma program.

“The need for an accredited cosmetology program surfaced. We found that area residents were commuting outside of Greeley, and we wanted to fill that education gap for the learners interested in the areas of hair, skin and nails.” Steve Steele, CEO, IBMC College

In addition to the new School of Cosmetology program offering, labs and classrooms are currently being built for business administration, computer specialist, healthcare, therapeutic massage, legal and pharmacy technician program fields.

IBMC College plans to invite the public to a free Open House celebration on Thursday, August 15th from 6-8pm, where campus tours, refreshments and on-site program registration will be offered.
