IBMC Students Will use Hands-on Training Skills at the 9Health Fair

Students Look Forward to Providing Health Services for Community Members at the 2012 9Health Fair in Fort Collins, CO

The Institute of Business & Medical Careers is providing trained student volunteers From the medical, massage, business and legal programs for this year’s 9Health Fair.

This event will  be held on April 20th-21st at Christ Center Community Church, 2700 South Lemay Avenue in Fort Collins, Colorado from 7am-12:00pm. People 18 and older, from all walks of life, income levels and racial-ethnic backgrounds, are encouraged to attend.

As IBMC provides hands-on, accelerated training in the classroom, students are excited to take their skills to this year’s 9Health Fair to benefit local community members.

The School of Allied Health Careers will provide Medical Assistant students to take blood draws.

Students from the School of Business, those enrolled in the Paralegal Program, and students who are studying Medical Billing and Coding, will assist with paperwork and patient check-in.

Therapeutic Massage students will offer a healing touch with complimentary chair massages to attendees and volunteers.
