IBMC College Sponsors Larimer County Jailbreak Run and Helped Funds Reach $15,000 for Abused Children
$15,000 Raised at the Larimer County Sheriff’s Family Fun/Walk Over the Weekend
The Institute of Business & Medical Careers was a proud sponsor of the first annual Larimer County Family Fun Run/Walk, hosted on September 22, 2012.
Starting at the Sheriff’s office in Fort Collins, runners and walkers took off on a four mile loop around the city.
Crossing the finish line with record times, participants were greeted with swag, ribbons and plenty of goodies, such as donuts and bananas, to replenish those carbs lost during the race and satisfy even the biggest sweet tooth craving.
IBMC’s skilled massage therapist provided complimentary chair massages to attendants in need of relaxation, rejuvenation and healing, as well as discount coupons for runners to enjoy a 60 or 90 minute massage session at the Fort Collins Massage Clinic.
There was a grand total of 37 individuals representing IBMC during this event.
Proceeds benefited the Larimer County Child Advocacy Center. Over $15,000 was raised for the abused and neglected children this organization serves, and 371 total people registered for the event.
Thank you to everyone that participated in the Jailbreak Family Fun Run/Walk.
