IBMC College Students Honored at CACCS Awards
On September 6, 2013, three IBMC College students were honored by the Colorado Association of Career Colleges and Schools (CACCS) and received Meritorious Recognition and Student of the Year awards.
IBMC College is pleased to announce that Celestino Plascencia, Marissa (RJ) Sadusky and Tracy Tan have been recognized by the Colorado Association of Career Colleges and Schools (CACCS) for their outstanding academic achievements. Annually, CACCS hosts an awards ceremony that celebrates students in the Colorado career college system who excel in their programs and strongly exhibit three qualities: commitment, performance and leadership/professionalism.
Each student that is honored must have a serious and unwavering commitment to his/her academic and professional career goals. He/she must show high performance in the categories of attendance, grades, class activities and classroom work. Finally, he/she must demonstrate leadership and behave professionally, both in the classroom and within the community.
This year, Celestino Plascencia, a student in the Paralegal program at IBMC College in Greeley, CO, was honored with the Meritorious Recognition award in the category of Specialized Trades. Additionally, Marissa (RJ) Sadusky, a student in the Therapeutic Massage program at the Fort Collins campus, was honored with the Student of the Year award in the category of Physical/Massage Therapy. Tracy Tan, also from the Fort Collins campus, was recognized for her skills in Medical Billing and Coding as a Student of the Year recipient for the Allied Health – Administrative Medical category.
IBMC College is honored to have such a dedicated group of individuals as students and we congratulate Celestino, Marissa (RJ) and Tracy on their awards!
