IBMC TM Clinics Raises $1,853 for Partners’ Christmas for Kids Program

Patrons, of IBMC’s Therapeutic Massage Clinics in Northern Colorado, Enjoyed a Healing Massage and Made the Holidays Brighter for Children Throughout Larimer and Weld Counties

The Holiday Season, IBMC’s Therapeutic Massage Clinics in Northern Colorado collaborated with Partners Mentoring Youth to benefit this year’s Christmas for Kids program.

While trained students and graduates performed a variety of healing massage techniques on patrons, during  November 14, 2011-December 10, 2011, 10% of all service proceeds benefited the Christmas for Kids program – which supports abused and at-risk children throughout Larimer and Weld counties.

The Christmas for Kids campaign is a joint collaboration between the Northern Colorado Active 20/30 Foundation and Partners Mentoring Youth. The goal of this program is to raise $100,000 by December 31, 2011 and support 70 youth who are currently enrolled with this organization.

The Partners’ mentoring program creates and supports mentoring relationships between positive adult role models and youth facing challenges in their young lives. After a year in the Partners’ mentoring program, youth show increased self-esteem and self-confidence, decreased alcohol, drug use and juvenile delinquency. In addition, they show improved academic performance and future outlook.
