Santa Cops Gift Collection At IBMC College In Greeley
IBMC College is proud to announce that the Greeley campus has started a gift collection for Santa Cops of Weld County. The collection began today and will run until December 20th. Items for donation can be dropped off at the campus, located at 2863 35th Avenue.
The Santa Cop Gift Collection is an annual donation event organized by the Weld County Sheriff’s Department. Santa Cops of Weld County are dedicated to providing toys to children who would otherwise receive nothing at Christmas. The organization also strives to improve Police-Community relations and give to those throughout Weld County who might otherwise be forgotten.
This year’s collection is in special need of gifts for teenage girls. The Sheriff’s Department is seeking unwrapped gifts for children and teens, ages infants to 19.
IBMC College students, staff, and faculty at the Greeley campus have been encouraged to donate gifts, or donate their time and volunteer to help wrap the collected gifts for distribution.
