Working in the Beauty Industry is More Than A Career, It’s a Passion for Brandy Winegarner
Brandy Winegarner, a graduate from IBMC College’s School of Cosmetology’s Hairstyling Certificate program, shares how her new career allows her to make a beautiful impact in the lives of others, even beyond the mirror.

Brandy Winegarner, the mother of a sweet two-year old little girl and loving wife, came to IBMC College because she was passionate about pursuing a career training in cosmetology field. She took a moment to share how life-changing this path has been for her and others since graduating in May of 2014.
Between supporting her family and working in a professional beauty and cosmetology career, Brandy is busy.
“I currently work at Europa Colour Spa Salon in old town Fort Collins and freelance for M•A•C cosmetics. I love both of my careers, as each is amazing. I was asked to help with a bridal party at Europa only 4 weeks of being there and we all had a blast. One of the bridesmaids cried as she said she felt amazing with the 1950s look I did to match her style and dress. We did the classic cat eyeliner, poppy red lip and played up her fabulous cheek bones.”
The career training Brandy received in the School of Cosmetology in Greeley and the beauty industry job opportunities have been phenomenal! Now, she earns a living literally doing what she loves each and every single day.
“I get to help others feel wonderful about themselves. It’s great to feel instrumental in helping someone put away the past and become a new person. Other times, it’s someone that wants to just feel beautiful, have some time away from the kids to relax or get a nice shave with a relaxing men’s cut.”
