RMA Teaches in Medical Assistant Programs at IBMC College’s Longmont Campus
Select Medical Assistant classes will be taught by Shellie Bell, Registered Medical Assistant, and newest addition to the School of Allied Healthcare Careers at IBMC College’s Longmont campus.
In both the Medical Assisting program options of a degree and diploma, Bell will prepare students with the skills needed to perform front office and clinical duties.
Her experience in the field of medical assisting will be an asset to the students at the Longmont campus. She currently works at SSM Depaul Medical Group as a Medical Assistant, where she regularly performs vitals, EKGs, phlebotomy, pro-time tests, urinalysis tests, Electronic Health Records (EPIC) and patient room preparation.
She graduated with an Associates of Allied Health Degree and Medical Assistant Diploma from Sanford Brown College in St. Peters, Missouri.
IBMC College is nationally accredited by the Accrediting Council of Independent Colleges and Schools to offer certificate, diploma and Associate of Occupational Studies Degree programs in the areas of business, computer support, cosmetology, dental, healthcare, legal and massage fields. Career training programs take 19 months or less to complete, as prescribed. Programs do vary by campus.
