IBMC College Names New Regional Director of Human Resources
IBMC College today announced Claire Holton-Zenner, SPHR®, has been named Regional Director of Human Resources.
“Claire is a talented leader with a proven record of successfully implementing HR strategies to support company objectives and retains strong, strategic leadership traits,” stated IBMC College’s CEO, Steve Steele. “We are pleased to have her on our staff.”
Holton-Zenner has 16 years of experience in human resources management and the development of corporate-wide policies and procedures for large companies. She replaces Laura Koester, who served as IBMC College’s Regional Director of Human Resources for the past four years before electing to transition from this position.
In her new role, Holton-Zenner will be responsible for implementing initiatives and managing the HR operations for IBMC College campus-wide in Fort Collins, Greeley, Longmont, CO and Cheyenne, WY.
She will be in charge of executing company business strategies involving human resources activities, including but not limited to the following: recruiting, compensation, benefits, employee relations, Regulatory Compliance, training, development, Workers’ Compensation, unemployment, systems and processes.
Prior to joining IBMC College, Holton-Zenner served as the Human Resources Manager at Bridgepoint Education in Denver, CO from 2011-2014 – where she managed local human resources operations for online higher education organizations and services for 450-900 local employees. While there, she developed collaborative relationships with senior leadership, key stakeholders and established an employee file system, compliant with state, federal and higher education requirements.
Holton-Zennner served in the role of Director of Human Resources for OrthoColorado Hospital in Lakewood, CO in 2009-2010 and at Rocky Vista University in Parker, CO in 2008-2009. Prior to these positions, she was the Human Resources Manager for PRC, LLC in Englewood, CO from 2006-2008, Manager of Human Resources at UniPath, LLC in Denver CO from 2002-2006 and Human Resources Manager at Builders FirstSource in Denver, CO from 1998-2002.
She retains a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications from Regis University in Denver, CO – where she graduated Summa Cum Laude and is in the process of earning her Master’s Degree in Organizational Development and Leadership. Additionally, Holton-Zenner holds a Senior Professional in Human Resources Certification SPHR®.
