Award Winning Medical Billing Instructor Teaches Hands-on Skills at Healthcare College
Institute of Business & Medical Careers College Campus Names Faculty and Staff of the Quarter
Medical Billing & Coding Fort Collins‘ Instructor Kami Stuzman and Front Desk Specialist Andrea Wright, “scored” honors during the kick-off to the Fort Collins Student Awards Assembly Super Bowl themed event on January 31, 2013.
Faculty of the Quarter Award Winner – Kami Stutzman, an Instructor in the Medical Billing & Coding program, accepted this honor. This award is voted on by IBMC students and provided to a faculty member that demonstrates a devotion to students and their education.
In Stutzman’s Medical Coding classes, she teaches hands-on training, provides the skills necessary to assign universal healthcare codes to surgical and medical procedures and prepares students for the professional skills needed to begin a new career as a Medical Billing & Coding Specialist in as little as 19 months, as prescribed.
Staff of the Quarter Award Winner – Andrew Wright, Front Desk Specialist II, provides support to all departments at IBMC. She is devoted to assisting students, co-workers and customers. She continues to maintain operational and data processing excellence in her role at the Fort Collins campus.
In conjunction with the Faculty of the Quarter and Staff of the Quarter, students were recognized for the President’s List, Dean’s List, Exceptional Attendance, Student of the Quarter, Star Student and Rising Star awards at the Super Bowl Assembly.
