Shelia Schneider Teaches the Skills Students Need to Succeed in Business Careers

The Cheyenne Institute of Business and Medical Careers, located at 1854 Dell Range Blvd., welcomes Shelia Schneider to the position of Adjunct Instructor in the School of Business – where she will train students in the Southern Wyoming region to succeed in the following career paths, accounting and business administration positions.

IBMC teaches students the skills to work in business fields and accounting careers in a hands-on, accelerated environment.

Schneider has a variety of field experience and looks forward to bringing her expertise to the classrooms of IBMC.

She was employed as a Principal Auditor for the following companies: Wyoming Department of Transportation from 2010 to Present,  McGree, Hearn and Paiz, LLP as an Audit Staff member from 2009-2010, Alliance Property Management as a bookkeeper from 2008-2009 and Runyan and Associates as an Accounting Assistant Intern from 2007-2008.

In her new position, she will be responsible for supporting curriculum standards and leading IBMC’s business students down a path of success.

Students will earn a Microsoft Office Specialist Certification, learn database entry, accounting concepts, ethical business practices and word processing, giving adult learners the opportunity to solidify professionalism, foster communication and work in a business career

Schneider earned a Masters in Professional Accountancy in 2009 and a Bachelors of Science in 2008 from Montana State University. She received her Associates of Science from Flathead Community College.
