IBMC College adds Human Resources Generalist to corporate team
IBMC College welcomes Chase Schumacher to the position of Human Resources Generalist starting Monday, Feb. 13.
In his new role, Schumacher will be responsible for managing human resources operations for IBMC College campus-wide in Fort Collins, Greeley, Longmont, Colorado Springs and Cheyenne.
He will be in charge of executing company business strategies involving human resources activities, including but not limited to the following: recruiting, compensation, benefits, employee relations, Workers’ Compensation, and unemployment, in addition to some training and development.
Schumacher has five years of experience in human resources and employee recruitment. Prior to joining IBMC College, Schumacher served as the Human Resources Generalist, as well as a recruiter and Western Regional Benefits Administrator, at StarTek in Greeley since 2014 – where he conducted new hire orientations and benefits enrollments, and maintained employee lifecycle survey processes. In addition, he worked as a recruiter for Xerox Business Services from 2013-2014, where he served as the liaison between potential candidates and Xerox through attending career fairs for the company, as well as online interaction and hosting new employee orientations.
He retains a Bachelor of Liberal Arts degree in Communication Studies from Colorado State University in Fort Collins. Additionally, Schumacher is currently attending a Professional in Human Resources® Certification Prep Course at Colorado State University in Denver.
