IBMC College’s Greeley campus hires Student Success Coach
Greg Pierson, as the newest addition to the Student Services Department, will bring his experience in talent acquisition, education and customer service to the students of IBMC College Greeley campus, located at 2863 35th Avenue.
Pierson will be responsible for academic advising and partnering with students to achieve their individual academic goals. He will be in charge of providing support and offering resources to help students who may be experiencing difficulties with childcare while in school, medical issues, housing obstacles and personal hurdles. He joins Student Support Specialist Michael Thompson, who assists students during the evening class sessions.
Pierson has nearly two decades of experience in education, talent acquisition and customer service, to include coaching, mentoring and cross-functional team leadership.
He has worked in a variety of roles, such as Talent Acquisition Specialist for Vail Resorts, Educator for Poudre School District, Queen Creek Unified School District and Mesa Public Schools, both in Arizona, as well as a customer service associate for multiple businesses. His vast knowledge of talent development will serve him well in his role as Student Success Coach at the Greeley campus of IBMC College.
Pierson has a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication and Education from Northern Arizona University, located in Flagstaff, Ariz.
