IBMC College Announces Kearns to the Position of Regional Director of Regulatory Affairs and Compliance
Barbara Kearns takes on role as Regional Director of Regulatory Affairs and Compliance for IBMC career training college locations in Colorado and Wyoming.
IBMC College has named Barbara Kearns as the Regional Director of Regulatory Affairs and Compliance, serving IBMC’s campuses in Fort Collins, CO; Greeley, CO; Longmont, CO and Cheyenne, WY.
Kearns will be responsible for issues relating to assigned regulatory areas, interpretation of regulations and overall operational leadership. She will work on the coordination of day-to-day regulatory affairs, corporate-wide compliance for all applicable federal and state regulations and serve as the company’s expert in all matters related to institutional accreditation standards.
She originally joined the IBMC Fort Collins in August of 2010 as the Campus Director. She later transitioned to Campus President of the Longmont career training college campus and Accreditation and Compliance Director in 2012-2013.
Before working at IBMC, she held a position with Concorde College and Career Education Corporation as a key player in growth initiatives of multi-campus environments.
Kearns has distinguished academic curriculum vitae, with a Masters of Education from Century University and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology (Cum Laude with Highest Distinction) from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs.
