IBMC College Names James Henig as the Regional Director of Admissions
With a wide array of experience and a true commitment to serving students, IBMC College welcomes newly-appointed Regional Director of Admissions, James Henig.
As a fixture in the world of higher education, James Henig has devoted countless years to helping students from across the country find career training paths that fit their needs. Henig has worked in high-level admissions roles for a variety of schools and now brings his talents and skills to IBMC College.
In his role with IBMC College, Henig will be responsible for managing the Admissions Representatives across all four campuses located in Fort Collins, Greeley and Longmont, CO and Cheyenne, WY. He will support the Admissions staff with training and feedback and ensure that they are representing the College in an accurate and honest manner. Additionally, he will be an integral part of the Senior Leadership Team, participating in all meetings and providing valuable input on topics crucial to student success.

Prior to joining IBMC College, Henig was employed as the Regional Assistant Vice President (RAVP) of High School Admissions with Corinthian Colleges from 2010 to 2014, where he instituted new admissions programs for high school students at select campuses and built relationships with area high school counselors. As RAVP, he also hired and trained all Admissions staff, including the Directors of Admissions. Additionally, he provided support to 5 schools in Colorado, Salt Lake City and Las Vegas.
From 2009 to 2010, Henig served as the Director of Admissions at Kaplan College in Thornton, CO, where he improved the enrollment process through staff training and actively listening to the needs of the students. Previously, he served as the Director of Admissions for a variety of other institutions: Concorde Career College in Aurora, CO (2006 to 2009), Institute of Technology in Sacramento, CA (2006) and Parks College in Thornton, CO (2004 to 2006).
As School Director for Southwest Institute of Technology in Austin, TX (2002 to 2004) and Texas School of Business in Houston (2001 to 2002), some of Henig’s responsibilities included directing all campus operations, assisting with hiring decisions, managing payroll and advertising budget and maintaining all statistical information for accrediting bodies. Additionally, he held the position of Director of Admissions at EAI Training Institutes in Topeka, KS from 1999 to 2001.
Henig holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Madison University.
