Thompson to Lead IBMC’s Greeley College as Campus President
IBMC College’s Greeley, Colorado campus will be run by Eric Thompson, a business leader with over 20 years of management experience and a passion for changing lives in the higher education industry.
IBMC Greeley College campus in Colorado welcomes Eric Thompson to the role of Campus President.
As the Campus President at the Greeley College, he will be in charge of ensuring that life-changing career training is provided to all students as well as overseeing all daily operations, in all departments. His responsibilities also include monitoring regulatory and statutory guidelines, each tasks he has successfully completed throughout his varying roles at IBMC.
For the past five years, Eric served as the Campus President, during different time periods, at the Fort Collins and Greeley campuses, where he has managed operations at the campus level. He led campuses with over 300 students and 70 staff/faculty members, maintained fiduciary responsibilities, placement and retention goals, oversaw numerous faculty renovations, such as the addition of the Student Beauty Services Clinic and Dental Assisting labs, and created an environment of exceptional customer service throughout each campus.
Thompson’s community involvement is extensive.
He guided IBMC College in Fort Collins to achieve the Gold level with the City of Fort Collins and their ClimateWise program most recently.

Thompson’s educational training is vast and includes membership in the following organizations: 2014-2015 Leadership Fort Collins via the Chamber of Commerce, Presenter at Leadership 101 Emerging Leaders, Cross the Line and additional workshops geared towards teaching others how to Create Exceptional Environments.
In addition, he is a member of the Social SuperStars through the City of Fort Collins, Team Leader for the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools, and takes pride in his past involvement with 12 other professional committees.
Thompson graduated with his Bachelor’s Degree in Recreation Administration from the University of Northern Colorado. After graduating college, Eric owned and operated the Conditioning Spa Health and Fitness Center in Greeley for nearly 15 years, where he supervised more than 50 people, eight departments and tracked $1.1 million annually.
In 2007, Eric started working as an adjunct faculty member with IBMC, teaching business and massage classes. Since 2007, Eric has served as an instructor, Associate Dean of Education, Dean of Education, Campus Director and Campus President.
