IBMC College’s Fort Collins campus adds instructor to Cosmetology program
IBMC College has hired Robin Morgan to instruct in the Cosmetology diploma program at the Fort Collins campus, located at 3842 S. Mason Street.
Morgan brings 26 years of experience to IBMC College from Hair Company in Carbondale, Ill., where she was a self-employed cosmetologist since 2003. Morgan was previously a cosmetology instructor and lab supervisor at the John A. Logan College in Carterville, Ill., where she taught, directed and supervised cosmetology courses and the lab floor — assisting students in all aspects of a career in beauty.
Morgan graduated from Duquoin Beauty College in Du Quoin, Ill., where she received her Cosmetology Certificate and became a licensed Cosmetologist in 1990. She furthered her education by her obtaining her Cosmetology Instructor Certificate in 2014 and an Associates in Art Degree in 2015, both from John A. Logan College, where she taught for many years. She received her Bachelor of Science in Workforce Education and Development this year and graduated from Southern Illinois University Cum Laude.
Morgan is a seasoned cosmetologist and entrepreneur. Her past experience managing clients, performing salon services, and running a successful business will be valuable skills and knowledge she can pass along to her students. Morgan is a welcomed addition to the Cosmetology program and the faculty at IBMC College in Fort Collins.
In this program, students can learn the skills needed for a rewarding career in Cosmetology with IBMC College. Students gain an extensive background and skills in hair, skin, and nails working in the state-of-the-art Student Beauty Services Clinic on campus. IBMC College provides students with techniques needed to perform a variety of services in as little as 14 months, when following the prescribed coursework.
