**Please note: In an effort to stay proactive and to protect our students, especially those in the military sector, IBMC College has recently applied to become accredited by an alternate accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. This move is to align our college with an accrediting body better suited to our growing number of career offerings and to ensure eligible students will continue to receive financial aid (Title IV funding if qualified) and VA benefits throughout their program. Upon the grant of accreditation by the agency, IBMC College will relinquish ACICS accreditation. Until that time, IBMC College will remain accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS). If you have questions, please email email@example.com.
Why is accreditation so important?
For more than 28 years, IBMC College has provided training and placed thousands of individuals into career positions in Colorado and Southern Wyoming. We believe in changing lives through caring for our students, staff, faculty and maintaining excellence in all that we do. This standard of integrity enables us to continually be nationally accredited.
Through this accreditation, we are able to award our students with certificates, diplomas and Associate of Occupational Studies degrees in order to help them further their career, or start a new one! Accreditation — which means “to trust” — is the oldest method of regulation.
Educational institutions are accredited for two main reasons: 1) assurance of quality, and 2) self-improvement of the institution and its program.
IBMC College goes through extensive accrediting reviews to make sure we maintain a certain level of performance, to seek evidence of self-improvement, and to ensure our integrity and our conformity to national standards.
