Train for a career that will put you at the forefront of today’s healthcare offices!
From a patient’s first phone call to making sure their test results get to the right place, hospitals and clinics wouldn’t be able to function without the knowledge of Medical Office Administrators. A big part of this role is helping patients to feel at ease, knowing you are one of the first people they meet. At IBMC College, you will only take courses that pertain to your success in the workforce. We are experienced at giving students the training they need to become successful in their chosen careers.
Medical Office Administrators will develop skills in keyboarding, filing systems, accounting, and the latest popular computer applications, as well as extensive training in medical terminology and transcription.
This gives graduates a tremendous advantage so they can enter the workplace as confident and proficient medical office employees and managers.
In addition to training from instructors with real-world experience, you will also complete an externship in a physician’s office, clinic or related healthcare facility under the supervision of a physician, nurse, or health services professional. This will give you valuable, on-the-job experience before you graduate.
