Graduates from IBMC’s School of Business and School of Paralegal Studies enjoyed accelerated career training and now look forward to working in a rewarding profession in business and law.

Pomps and Circumstance echoed throughout the Budweiser Event Center In Loveland, CO during the Institute of Business and Medical Careers’ 79th Commencement Ceremony on Sunday, October 16th.

257 graduates, the largest procession to date, filled the arena with thousands of loved ones, supporters, friends, families and peers cheering IBMC graduates on during this event.

Graduates came from IBMC’s campuses in Fort Collins, Greeley, Longmont and Cheyenne. Excitement and jitters were replaced with awe as graduates took their seat for the highly anticipated event. President Steven Steele welcomed guests and lead in the presentation of the Special Awards, while cheers rang throughout the building.

IBMC Graduates are ready to start careers in their field of study! IBMC’s placement consultants, in the Career Services department, will help during this next step in their journey towards a better life.

John Cockrell, Karissa Castello, Melanie Buck and Darren Roe, all class representatives from the School of Business, School of Paralegal Studies, School of Allied Health Careers and School of Massage and Healing Arts, each took the stage to describe their path that lead them to the journey at IBMC.

While hearing personal accounts of hardships, feats, triumphs, successes and new goals, the crowd went silent as each one of these students laid their hearts out to the masses that filled the event.

It was then time for the moment everyone had been waiting for! Vice President of Education, Diana Gunderson, took the stage and began announcing this Fall Season’s graduates while Steven Steele conferred the degrees.

Through bouquets of red roses, tears, camera flashes and group hugs, it became official when the graduates formally “turned their tassels” to the left and marched out of in unison.

Despite the obstacles and sacrifices, these students made it! As they enter into new careers with dreams of a better life, the mix of air horns and thunderous applause, at the Budweiser Event Center, left zero doubt that these students made a difference in not only their only lives, but as well as the thousands that filled the arena this legendary night!
