Cheyenne Campus Director Spends a Saturday Learning More About the Importance of the Guard and Reserve in Southern Wyoming
The Institute of Business & Medical Careers was invited to participate in an exciting event this Saturday, June 9th, where Archie Randall, Cheyenne Campus Director, attended the Wyoming Committee for Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve for a “Bosslift to Camp Guernsey”.
Camp Guernsey is a Premier Joint Training Center consisting of over 77,000 acres of maneuver area, training ranges, and state-of-the-art facilities.
Business owners and managers from across Wyoming were invited to join in on the educational presentations. This event was designed to allow employers a firsthand look at how important Wyoming’s Guard and Reserve employees are to the city and national security.
Cheyenne participants departed at 6am on a C-130, travel to other destinations in Wyoming to pick up other participants and then arrive at Camp Guernsey mid-morning.
At Camp Guernsey, attendees were welcomed with a brief meeting with Major General Reiner and then observed various training activities throughout the day.
Camp Guernsey exists to facilitate and support realistic combat training for current and future American fighting forces. For more information, click here.
